JC Hernandez was born in Hannover Germany and discovered as a child her love for HipHop and RnB music.  As a teenager she started dancing HipHop, then lived in New York and received profound knowledge in HipHop dance culture from Buddha Stretch and Robin Dunn. She participated as a dancer/choreographer in the musical “Anything goes” at the Landesbühne Hannover and in the plays such as “12 Yards”, “Ich.Du.Wir.Supahelden” by Lukulule.  She attended international workshops and educated herself in different styles including House and Afro. Currently she lives in Hamburg and organizes various events, including founding the dance battle “Battle 2 Da Next Level”. After her studies in economics at the University of Bremen she worked in the fields of finance, marketing and project management. Currently she works as a freelance production and event manager and curates the program “Educate to Recreate” as part of Fokus Tanz Festival at Kampnagel.
